The purpose of this
two day pressure vessel training course is to give attendees a
thorough understanding of the fundamental design principles of
pressure vessels as well as instruction in the most commonly
employed clauses of AS1210. A basic comparison is also made
with the methodology of ASME Section VIII Div I. Upon
completion of this pressure vessel seminar, the attendee should be
well placed to perform common pressure vessel design tasks with
minimal instruction and supervision from a Senior/Supervising
Engineer.
This pressure
vessel training course does not require any previous knowledge of
pressure vessels or relevant pressure vessel codes or standards.
Junior Engineers, Graduate Engineers and those new to the field of
pressure vessels will find the pressure vessel course well suited to
their learning needs.
This pressure
vessel seminar has been designed to take engineers with zero or
minimal pressure vessel experience and give them the necessary
design knowledge to get them working on pressure vessel design tasks
without too much "hand holding" by others in their organisation.
Cautionary Note:
Attendees should realise that pressure vessel design is a
specialised field of mechanical engineering and to develop their
career as pressure vessel designers, the mentoring, advice,
supervision and assistance etc of experienced engineers, as well as
private study, is still essential for future success. By
attending this pressure vessel course, attendees will be much more
advanced and have a better understanding of this area of expertise
compared to those who do not undergo a formal learning program
either on-the-job or through other pressure vessel courses and self
study.
A PDF Flyer is
available for download (by clicking the button above) which gives
more detailed information.
It should also be noted that this
pressure vessel training course has been designed for those who will
be involved in pressure vessel design tasks and therefore anyone
attending should be suitably degree or diploma qualified in a
relevant engineering or science related discipline. |
